How do I get started with prompts?

Create, edit, and organize AI prompts in PromptHub's prompt library. Each prompt supports versioning, categories, and reusable variables so teams can standardize how they talk to AI models.

How does token usage and billing work?

PromptHub bills per AI operation (prompt generation, chain execution, agent runs) using a token budget tied to your plan. Usage, remaining balance, and per-operation cost are visible in your dashboard in real time.

How does team collaboration work?

Share prompts and components with role-based access control (Admin, Components Editor, Prompt Creator, Viewer), so teams collaborate without giving everyone edit rights.

What is the Chain Builder and Composite Steps?

The Chain Builder is a visual editor for multi-step AI workflows. Composite Steps let you attach a Skill or Prompt directly to a chain node, so a single node can enforce instructions and run content in one execution step.

What are Skills, PlugIns, and AI Agents?

Skills are reusable instruction modules. PlugIns bundle multiple Skill versions into a shareable, versioned collection. Agents combine a persona, a model, and tools drawn from Prompts, Chains, Skills, or PlugIns into a single AI assistant you can run or share.

How do I connect PromptHub to Claude via MCP?

PromptHub runs a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so Claude Code, Claude Desktop, and claude.ai can search, retrieve, and execute your Prompts, Chains, Skills, and Agents directly, authenticated via a personal API key or OAuth 2.1. Read the full connection guide →
